In Give your Immune System Some Support

When experiencing congestion I find it helpful to make a pot of tea with fresh ginger and lemon.  Simply thinly slice fresh ginger and add some fresh squeezed lemon.  Proportions can be; 5 thin thumbnail size slices of ginger with a teaspoon to tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.  Steep in 2 cups of hot water.   Usually I keep it simple and slice the ginger right into my cup leaving it in there for the next cup, adding the lemon with each full cup,  keeping in mind I don’t want to leave the ginger sit too long between cups.  It is good to get a few cups of this into yourself to help break up the congestion.    Sweeten if you choose with stevia or honey.
